The Strawberry Patchers, a chapter of the Arizona Quilters Guild (www.azquiltersguild.org) was organized in February 1994. Currently we have a membership of 40+ and welcome anyone who is interested in quilting at any skill level.


We meet in the Isabelle Hunt Memorial Public Library Activity Room (on the first and third Thursdays of each month) in Pine, Arizona. Check our calendar page for any meeting date exceptions and information on meetings.

We set up and conduct teaching activities for our members, donate $3,500 to $4,000 yearly to local non profit organizations, participate in local events, make comfort quilts for others and a wide variety of fun stuff throughout the year!

Community Service and Charitable Funding

The monies collected from the sale of tickets for the Opportunity Quilt and the admission fee for the annual Quilt Show, allows the Strawberry Patchers to give on the average $3,500 to $4,000 to local organizations annually. We also make quilts and provide fabric for community service projects. Recipients are listed below for 2011:

Kris Lovetro, Immediate Past Chair, with her quilt from the members. Karen Nelson coordinated the making of this quilt. Kris was our Chair for 18 months serving until Elaine took over starting the AQG fiscal year 2011-2012.
